Interpretive
Wood Sculptor
Decorative
Waterfowl Carver
|
For
twenty-five years, Fred has been developing and
displaying waterfowl carvings. The realism and
attention to detail in his pieces have earned him
numerous ribbons in various competitions in the
Eastern United States. All his interpretive wood
sculptures have won either First or Second "Best
of Show" awards in major shows on the East
Coast.
Most
decorative pieces are carved from Tupelo (wood from
Louisiana's swampland). All interpretive pieces are
sculpted from either English or Black Walnut.
Most of his pieces are in private collections, as far
away as Japan. Some of his works have been
pictured in various woodcarving magazines.
Fred
lives in York County, Pennsylvania.
