Robert Baber and
Sarah

Robert Baber was born in Timsbury, Somerset, England 20 July 1651. Robert died aft 1718 in VA.
He married Sarah unknown in VA, abt 1682. Sarah was born in York County VA, 1658. Sarah died bef 1750. Robert came to Virginia on the Bristol Factor, sailing from England on 30 September, 1679. He was indentured to Thomas Foster for four years.
Robert moved to Old Rappahannock County and then to King William County where he received a 300 acre land grant in 1718. In the same year he also patented 500 acres on the upper end of Reedy Swamp.
Robert Baber and Sarah unknown had the following children:

i.  Edward Baber was born 12 Oct 1682. Edward died 1764 at 81 years of age. He married Sarah unknown. Sarah died 1780.
ii.  Robert Baber was born 1684.
iii.  Thomas Baber was born in 1688. He married Elizabeth Hutchins.
iv.  John Baber was born 1692.
