ACS Meeting Minutes. April 29,2006

The ACS meeting this year (2006) was held in conjunction
with the TCS and the GCS meeting at Blackwell Auidutorim
on the University of the Southin Swannee Tenn.  Scott Shaw 
and Julie Schrenk Brown were elected to fill the vacant 2 
year positions on the ACS board.
Scott Shaw was awarded the ACS cap for finding the most maps
missing from the CD and also turning in 7 new caves.
57 persons joined the ACS and received the annual update and 
43 Map CD's were purchased.  Some questions were raised about 
having the meeting out of the state of Alabama. Also some 
questions about why names of caves were changed on the survey
between discovery and mapping.
There were four presentations at the joint meeting.

Steve Pitts on the Fern Survey.
