Pacific White Sided Dolphin
Pacific White Sided Dolphin are very striking in appearance and have a more torpedo shaped head.  I have only been lucky enough to see them from a boat on one Whale Watching trip.  It was a trip out of Newport Beach CA.  So far these are the only pictures I have of Pacific White Sided Dolphin though I have seen them several times from shore while at the Gray Whale Census.
Pacific White Sided Dolphin have a very hook shaped dorsal fin as can be seen in the following two pictures.  The picture below is of really poor quality but really shows the hooked dorsal.

Hopefully I will have more opportunities to see Pacific White Sided Dolphin and get more pictures.  They are a beautiful Dolphin species.
The Pacific White Sided Dolphin can be seen year around in southern California waters but it's my understanding are more seen in the winter months.
