OWEN-(Andrew Stevens) Medical genius and really hot for Paula. Invented XTC.
PAULA-(Heather Thomas) Medical volunteer (lab rat). Becomes a sex crazed vampire.
DR. ALCORE-(Christopher Plummer) Owner of Life Reach Foundation. Rich and sneaky guy.
DENNIS-(Kim Coates) Alcore's monkey boy, vampire that can't control his sexual urges.
REBECCA-(Lydie Denier) Another volunteer, goes crazy and attacks Paula. Also a vampire.

OK this movie had an interesting idea but the ending really sucked. What do you want for 50 cents at a small town video store?

Basically The Life Reach Foundation is run by Dr. Alcore who is a vampire. Alcore hires Owen to help develop a cure for the disease that makes him a vampire. Owen meets Paula and falls in love with her. Paula quits her job as a volunteer because she thinks the company is doing something illegal. Owen goes to Paula's house and they go back to Life Reach to try and sneak into the restricted area.

Once inside they find Rebecca who bites Paula and thus turns Paula into a vampire. Owen and Paula go to the hospital and get her checked out, and Owen steals a blood sample. Dennis is sent to Paula's and kidnaps her. Paula knocks out Dennis and kills him by sucking out all of his blood, through his ankle (yuck). Owen frees Paula and they escape.

Paula freaks out, ditches Owen and kills a bodybuilder. Owen finds her again, creates a cure using his own blood and something that looks like windshield washer fluid. They do a transfusion using the washer fluid stuff, hooray she's cured and they have sex. Alcore gets into Owen's house takes the floppy disk with the formula, shakes Owen's hand and leaves. The end.

UM... Who was the villain? I thought it was Alcore but he and Owen are pretty nice to each other at the end.

Was Dennis the villain? He gets killed by a bite on the ankle. A vampire Chihuahua could've killed this guy.

If Owen was known to invent XTC why the hell does he care if Life Reach is doing illegal things?

Did we really need to see Dennis' butt?
