Um... Well... where to begin?
I got this movie by accident. I had ordered what I thought was going to be a Pete Townshend concert video based on his musical "The Iron Man" (later became "The Iron Giant" animated movie). My friend at the video store called, and she told me this tape wasn't what I was expecting. When I got to the store I figured "what the hell" the box looked cool so I bought it anyway. Boy was I in for a surprise.
I watched this movie twice so far and I'm still trying to process it. The first time I watched it was some time in '96 when I first bought it, and the second time tonight (10/21/01). I can't find words to describe this movie, but I'm gonna try. To give you an idea of how it feels, imagine being tied to a jet engine while on heavy psychoactive drugs an someone smashing you in the head with a pipe wrench. The film is black and white in Japanese and has English subtitles. The events don't actually happen in any particular order in the film but this is what I was able to piece together. I took film and science fiction writing classes and this is the best I could come up with as far as a story line, sorry I couldn't do any better.
The Metals Fetishist jams a threaded metal rod into his leg, I don't know why. The wound becomes infected and covered in maggots, causing him to panic and run out into the street. He runs in front of Tetsuo's car and is hit. Tetuso and his girlfriend take the metals fetishist to a park and dump his body, but stop to have sex right in front of him. Shortly after Tetsuo notices a metal wire sticking out of his face and it pops like a blood blister when he touches it. Tetsuo is attacked by a lady with a metal hand in a subway station. That night he is having some rather rough sex with his girlfriend when he begins to really transform. Something looking like a giant drain snake comes out of where his penis should be and it eventually kills his girlfriend. Tetsuo figures this is his punishment for the hit and run.
After some major physical changes the metals fetishist comes back to challenge Tetsuo. The two embark on a high speed chase all over town. The metals fetishist is attacked by the tramp for an unknown reason. The metals fetishist finds Tetsuo again and proceeds to beat the crap out of him. The bodies of the two merge in some kind of weird sexual metamorphosis. A giant mass of metal with the heads of the two men begins rolling down the street. The two heads decide that they are going to take over the world by covering it with metal. They metal thing rolls away, The End.

Don't even bother trying to figure out the plot, you'll just get a headache. I just took 1000mg of acetaminophen for mine.
I've seen some weird Japanese stuff before, but this is way beyond even the sickest hentai.
The stuff that happens to Tetsuo makes assimilation by the Borg look like a day at the topless beach.
