Sparky Coyote "THE WHITE STALLION" - a foundation Fewspot leopard appaloosa

In the beginning..............

As many stallions are - Sparky was raised in stall with very little experience with the 'scary outside world'. When he arrived he was 4 years old and untrained. At this time he was measured at 14.1hh, and 850 lbs....

After just one year of good food and plenty of exersize, Sparky grew to over 15hh - packed with 1100 lbs of 'working muscle'!
In the 2003 show season he earned The ICAA year-end highpoint championship in Barrels, recorded points in English pleasure as well. In the 2004 show season he attained '2-D' times in the NBHA, and competed across the state of TN in IPRA pro-rodeo as a 'local entry'.
During mid-2004 his 'Partner' (Laura M.) got interested in Trick training and Dressage - which Sparky proved to be even more suitable and talented for..................

To prove himself.......

Proving himself worthy of his extensive Foundation Appaloosa and Foundation Quarterhorse bloodlines - Sparky has shown not only to have the working ethic, toughness, and speed of the 'old working lines' but he is also a 'homozygous Leopard' AKA what the appaloosa breeders term a 'Fewspot Leopard Stallion'.. Though he APPEARS almost solid White (hence the nickname that the rodeo announcers have dubbed him with) He actually has five dark spots. But he has thrown 100% LOUD LEOPARD PATTERED foals to date - on all SOLID COLORED mares! He is 86% Foundation Pedigree designated...ApHC & ICAA registered. Sundance & CRHA eligible.

******His Bloodlines include: Solar Flair Eclat, Sundance, Wimpy (AQHA), Man o War (TB), Little Coyote, Patchy Jr X2, Chief Chelea, Fourmile, Navaho Britches X2, Leopard King, Chubby Pawnee, Powderface, Prince PlauditX2, Mansfield Commanche X3, Triple Chick X2, Gold Strikes Equal,
Go Wampum Cash X2, Red Plaudit, Three Bars X2, Dr Howard X2, Ha Dar Shado, Wapiti, Heavy Red...

***SADLY***

Sparky had to be retired from active training and showing in November 2004. He has been diagnosed with - and is in treatment for - EPM. Fortunantly it was caught in it's earliest stages since he is owned by a trainer with an eye to spot the minutest of unsoundness. No expense has been spared!

***update*** 01/06/05
Sparky is 'coming back' incredibly well! The antibiotics have cleared the causitive protazoan from his spinal chord. He is perfectly sound on the ground and in the breeding shed. Now with the help of a chiropractor, Massage and physical therapy - we hope to get him back to his fullest potential. Eventually getting him back 'on the trailrides'.

**** His exhibition career IS NOT OVER! He is just helping fellow horses in a new way! Come see us in March, 2005 at the TN Volunteer Horse fair as clinician: Laura Minneci uses Sparky to teach other owners how to deal with EPM and properly train/handle stallions*******

His book is restricted to 2 outside mare per year. Fee is Private Treaty. We give a written: live, COLOR-PATERNED foal guarantee!
