Nestled in the lush hills just outside of Nashville, TN... SMF was established in 1997. A steadily-growing rescue program, the rescue is supported by the main appaloosa farm's breeding, showing, training and lesson programs.

The rescue is A privately funded,Self-supporting program dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, training and placement of starved, neglected and abused auction horses, many times saving them less than a week before they are sold to the 'Kill-buyer'.

We are also developing a new and exciting training system to produce mounts for mild-to-moderately disabled riders!
