Council 7672 was founded in 1978. It is named after Fr. Michael Cottrell, who was The first pastor of St. Francis of Assisi church and the Charter Chaplin of the Council. The Fr. Michael Cottrell Council works closely with St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Grove City. One can email The Parish Office at stfrancis@ewol.com

The Council raises funds for various projects including pro-life, Vocations, keep Christ in Christmas, Youth Activities. Members are active participants in their parish.
