The Dandy is a 38-foot fishing vessel based in Emeryville, California, which is located on the east side of San Francisco Bay. She carries a maximum of 6 anglers.She is skippered by Captain Shon Harbarth with Captain Michelle Forehand as the deckhand. She specializes in salmon, halibut, striped bass, and occasional leopard shark trips. While she is typically chartered, open loads are frequent and very welcome. FISHING REPORTS:
Sat., October 20 - our regulars from Sacramento and the Bay area made this a memorable last day of fishing. Even though most wanted to go out to Duxbury for the salmon, Mother Nature did not cooperate so we stayed in the bay and ended up with 8 halibut and 2 stripers. Sue's record of not catching a halibut unfortunately is still intact!
Sat., October 6 - a terrific day - fourteen halibut to 17 lbs for our 6 anglers.
Sept 25 thru Sept 29 - no trips
Mon., Sept 24: Our five anglers landed limits of rockfish and one 5-lb salmon.
Sept 17 - Sept 23: no trips
Sun. Sept 16: Our six anglers took home one 14-lb salmon, 6 Lings and limits of rock fish.
Sat. Sept 15: Our six angler took home 12 leopard sharks to 25 lbs and one 30-lbsoupfin shark.
Sept 12 thru Sept 14 - no trips
Tues., Sept. 11: Our two anglers wnt home with limits of rockfish and ling cod.
Tues thru Mon: no trips
Mon., Sept 3: Three salmon to 20 lbs and 43 rockfish were landed by our party of 6 anglers.
Sun., Sept. 2nd: Our charter of 6 anglers opted for rock cod and lings and went home with limits of lings and limits of rockfish.
Sat., Sept 1: Four King salmon for our charter of 5
Tues thu Fri - no trips
Mon., Aug 27th: At last a few salmon! Our party of 5 landed 3 King salmon and 1 halibut.
