Our Drumming Meditation Circle is a gathering of like minded individuals who enjoy in the sharing & playing of Healing Drums, Chimes, Didgeridoos, Singing Bowls, Flutes, Bells & any other hand made instruments or professionally made instruments that are brought to each session for meditation, relaxation & well being.
Come join us for an hour of wonderful relaxation through an array of different sound vibrations experienced thru many of the drumming modalities used within each group session. You will have the chance to undergo your own unique relaxing meditation experience by playing your own instrument or listening to the others play that will be fun & enjoyable. The variety of instruments played each session provides an eclectic atmosphere with various sound-connecting vibrations between the instruments, bringing a uniqueness within each drumming session.
During each"FreeStyle" session we will allow this time to journey inward, allowing yourself to get connected with your inner & outer Divine Source thru the higher wisdom of Spirit. At the start of each drumming we will take time to honor Divine Spirit by creating a highly protected sacred space within the group circle, honoring ALL Beliefs, ALL Religions. Then we will start in the use of the instruments to induce a very peaceful& relaxing sound, a basic beat to start & to which we ALL can feel the blending of HEALING energies of HEAVEN & EARTH coming together & balancing within ourselves during each particular session. The Sound & Vibration within each session will vary depending on all the instruments as well as the pace of each session. This will last approximately 45-50 minutes in SOUND.
Then as we stop in sound & complete the drumming, we will sit in a quiet & relaxed atmosphere to be able to reflect & meditate upon our individual experience for approximately 10-15 minutes with light meditational music & then go around the circle with each individual to close the session & depart quietly thereafter, allowing each individual to take their meditation experience home in peacefulness and solitude.
We meet the 2nd Saturday of each month @7 PM for these "Freestyle" session's at the Oneness Center.
*** Drumming Circle recommends that children 8 years or older are welcome to attend with an Adult.
We ask that all children be able to sit without distrubing the sessions for at least 60 min. and
have some experience in meditation practices to be able to comprehend this type of experience
thru drumming. We do not recommend that children under the age of 8 years attend.
** Remember! We are ALL here for personal relaxation, healing and well being during each of
our drumming session's, and it is our aim to have this drumming atmosphere adhere as closely
as possible to this type of structure for drumming meditation for ALL who attend!
Disruptive Children or Adults will be asked to leave a session if their behavior is not consonant
with our meditational practices.

**Weather Permitting Schedule: If our area of the Ozarks experiences: Severe Weather condition's in either: tornadic weather; severe rain/flooding condition's; extreme cold; extreme rain, ice, snow or mix of any of these causing hazzerdous driving condition's during or at any of our Drumming Meditation Circle's regular or special drumming event's for any Season of the Year, we will most likely have to cancel that particular drumming event(s), & reschedule that particular event for another day! Our main priority for everyone is YOUR SAFETY in getting to each & every drumming event! If it is not SAFE to drive to any of our event's, we WILL CANCEL that particular event & reschedule it if we are able to do so successfully. **What Our Music Therapy Session's Consist's Of: Join Us for new ways to experience "Healing Rhythmic Drumming Techniques" by way of using many types of percussion instrument's for well-being & balancing of the mind-body-spirit connection or self. Beau & Kathleen will share in many of their rhythmic techniques they have encountered & worked with for over 8 years now. This will be an interactive class for which we will work the first 15-20 minutes getting to now how to work with one particular rhthmic beat & incorperating this particular learned beat into a 30 minute or so of playing time & allowing this form to develope several ways from slow, medium & fast beat's within the same modality learned. Each Music Therapy session is a more structured session & encourage everyone to utilize these forms at home in their meditations. We have instrument's available to use at all drummings. But do encourage everyone to eventually buy their own drum to use as part of their own meditation & healing experiences at home. **"All Healing, first starts in the Heart..."
