We're located in Big Sky Country - Montana! We started Big Sky Mountain Horses in
1999 to promote and sell the Rocky Mountain horse in Montana and surrounding areas.
Not very many people have ever heard of a Rocky Mountain horse in Montana but everyone
who has come into contact with our horses has fallen in love with them!
Our goal is to raise the awareness of and to promote this unique breed of horse in the West.
Our focus is on producing quality horses that best represent the easy disposition and smooth
gait of the Rockies. We breed and sell quality Rocky Mountain Horses and offer some
of the best bloodlines for stallion services. Our stallions come from champion bloodlines.
Blaze comes from the Maple's Squirrel and Kilburn Chocolate Sundown heritage. Illusion's
Special F/X is out of the Choco Dock and Maple Squirrel bloodlines. All of our breeding stock
is selected for its gait, disposition and conformation qualities.
Our desire is not to be a large operation, but to devote the attention to each horse that produces
quality versus quantity. Each foal is imprinted from birth and receives daily attention. These
horses will be more than just hay burners, they'll be your friend!!!
