WATCH OUT FOR TRAIL CHANGES AS WE HAVE CHANGED A FEW OF OUR TRAILS THIS YEARS SO BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!!!"Our trails begin in West Rome (behind TA Roman's West, across from The Home Depot)WATCH FOR TRAIL CHANGE IN THIS AREA!!!!! and head south to Verona Beach State Park via the Old Erie Canal State Park Trail, linking to the Tri-Valley Trail Riders. The trail heads east from West Rome on the old RR to TJ's Rest. in Taberg, linking up there with the Taberg Trail Blazers and from them to TC Riders in Camden. Back in West Rome, the trail heads north on the side of Home Depot and Heads north, NEW TRAIL THIS YEAR BE CAREFUL!!!! This trail is our busiest trail, heading north to The Colonial Inn in North Rome connecting to Trail Busters of Stokes and then on to Penn Mt. Snow Riders' beautiful trails. The Beeches Resort and Rest. Also Rome Motel is located just off this trail, follow the signs. Gas stations are accessible off the North Trail #C-7 (two stops), at the end of the East trail # C-7F, and off the Erie Canal Trail by going west at the Village past Cycle Shack Polaris parts and service. K~D~K Sports Ski-Doo is accessible off from the East Trail, just 1/4 mile from the main junction on the RR tracks behind TA's. Look for the Sign.
WRR's trail system is 38 miles long. Our main goals our Safety, Sign Placement and Education is a major concern. If you see any missing signs or a spot where there should be one, We welcome your suggestions. So please contact an officer."

Snowmobile trails in Rome
"We have 2 groomers with 9 1/2' wide drags maintaining these 38 miles. The volunteer Groomer drivers do a great job in attempting to keep up with the large amounts of traffic of snowmobiles going through our trails. Please respect the Goomer and the Drivers and move off the trail when they approach you. REMEMBER ITS THE LAW TO STOP FOR GROOMERS. Give the driver's a "THUMBS UP" to show your respect to them for their work. EVENTS for the up coming Season,We are holding are ANOTHER Snowmobile Safty course on JANUARY 14 2006 at Cycle shack at 9 am.(SPOTS ARE LIMITED!!!) To sign up call Cycle Shack at (315-339-1511)!!!!!!! TRAIL WORK HAS STARTED AND WE ARE MEETING AT 9am AT THE GROOMER BARN, LOCATED BEHIND DIPPIN DOUGNUTS.
