Bye, Bye!
Hi, and thanks for visiting MOONRIDE!  Unfortunately, Moonride has disband and no longer plays shows.  We thank all the loyal fans and friends who helped Moonride through the years.  We are truly proud of our accomplishments and sorry that Moonride had to be scrapped, but there is good news to anyone who really enjoyed Moonride...
We have a new band that was created from the remains of Moonride.  The new band is called
Nova Cancy features MOST of the original Moonride players.  The new line up is as follows:
Danimal- Drums galore,  Evan- Guitar, vocals,  Nick- Bass, vocals,  Serino- Guitar, vocals
As you can plainly see, this new band is made up of very talented veterans of the Raleigh music scene.   Over the years Moonride had grown from a three piece power house, into a 8 piece jam band, back down to a five piece mix of raw rock and friendly jams.  Nova Cancy takes all this and combines it into a four piece explosion of pure, straight rock and roll!  We can only categorize Nova Cancy's unique sound with whatever category you many put Pearl Jam in, although we are certainly not a Pearl Jam rip-off, but just as diverse while maintaining an original, one of a kind sound, you know what I'm trying to say here?

Anyway, Nova Cancy has a brand new site still in its infancy with more details.  Please go take the time to check it out and if you see us listed in a club, come on out and support us!  We need you to survive!
Thanks!
