WHO WE ARE

An Evangelical Church
We firmly believe that the Bible is God's inspired Word and that salvation from sin is by grace alone, through Christ alone, and is received by faith alone.

A Reformed Church
We hold to the historic Reformed Faith as expressed in the Westminster Confession of Faith, the greatest of the Protestant creeds, a product of the Long Parliament and adopted by the Church of Scotland in 1647.

A Presbyterian Church
A Presbyterian church is one that is ruled by elders.  The Greek word for "elder" is presbuteros.  Such men are mature in the faith and elected to their office by the people to serve as shepherds of the flock.

A Congregation of the OPC
We are part of a conservative denomination known as the Orthodox Presbyterian Church with churches all across America and with mission stations in many foreign lands.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

OUR MISSION

Worship
The church is an assembly of people who have been called by God to worship Him, to corporately enter into His presence to give thanks, sing His praises, hear His Word, confess sin and petition His Throne.

Evangelism
The church is to reach out to all persons, regardless of ethnic background or social standing, urging all to repent and to receive Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as their Savior from sin and as the Lord of their Lives.

Fellowship
Like the early church, the modern church should enjoy the riches of warm and personal fellowship with others of like faith and mind - continuing in the apostles' teaching, in the breaking of bread and in prayer.

Discipleship
The church endeavors to bring its members to full spiritual maturity, to equip all for every good work, so that whatever may be the spheres of their several callings, they may exert a sanctifying influence in the diverse realms of society and, thus bring glory to God.

Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.   No one comes to the Father except through Me."
