Pastor's Welcome Message Welcome to the Trinity Reformed Church's Web Page. I am Gerald Taylor, the pastor and it is my privilege to introduce you to our church. Visiting a church for the first time usually creates a bit of apprehension. So let me tell you in advance what we are like at Trinity. Fundamentally we are sinners, whom God has saved by His mercy through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. Though Trinity is not a perfect church, it is our commitment to gather together on the Lord's Day to worship and praise the eternal Father, Son and Holy Ghost for their faithful work of salvation on our behalf. We worship to express our love and gratitude to our merciful God. When you worship with us you will notice that the Bible is central to our all our activities. That is not an accident for we believe that God's word is inspired and is of great profit to our progress in holiness as those who believe in Jesus. You will also discover that we are interested in sharing with others how they can receive Jesus' great gift of eternal life. We pray for those who don't know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and we actually walk from door to door in the Bowie, Md. area sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Finally, when you visit us, prepare to meet many interesting people, each of whom has a story to tell about how God rescued them from a life of sin and is continuing His saving work in their life; how He is perfecting them so one Day they might see their Lord in all His resplendent glory. They will want to hear your story too. They will make you feel a part of a faithful fellowship dedicated to knowing and serving the Lord. If Trinity Reformed Church (OPC) sounds like what you've been looking for in a church, it is. Come worship with us and be a part of Christ's body that loves the Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ and seeks to give Him all the praise. |
