The Parker House Ranching Museum was opened in 1996. It is an historic house and was the headquarters of Ector and Andrews Counties' rancher, Jim Parker, for twenty years.
The Parker House Ranching
Museum is located at 1118 Maple Avenue in Odessa, 79761. Normal hours of
operation are 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Tours of
any size are welcome anytime and can be scheduled by calling the museum at (915)
335-9918. No admission is charged. For more information on the

The Parker House Ranching Museum features rotating exhibits on loan from other museums across the country as well as originally prepared exhibits. The main emphasis of The Parker House Museum is on ranching heritage and county history. Each year The Museum tries to showcase the contributions and legacy of one West Texas local ranching family by chronicling their history in stories, interviews, photos, and artifacts.
The Parker House currently features a unique display of paintings and interviews with noted WWII Artist/Correspondent for "Life" Magazine, Tom Lea.
