Lea Then                                    Lea Now

Tom Lea was an Artist/Correspondent for Life Magazine in World War II.  Armed with a hand full of pencils and a sketch pad Tom Lea was sent to document the experiences of our armed forces during WWII.  Lea was also issued a Ka-Bar knife as his only "weapon," which he used to sharpen his pencils.  His knife and copies of his more famous renderings are currently on display  at the Parker House Museum.  Click the thumbnails for larger view.
