STEAMBOATING IN ALASKAN WATERS with Stan Walsh

Cruising Alaska’s Inside Passage on the sternwheel steamboat, “Empress of the North”, becomes a storybook journey recalling the works of Mark Twain.  Ports of call include Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay, Sitka, Ketchikan and Victoria, B.C.  This is a brief photo excursion to highlight the history of America’s first people mover, the steamboat.

Award-winning singer-songwriter and guitarist Denny Breau’s rhythmically flawless and dazzlingly clear style allows him to do amazing and stunning things with a six-string guitar.  Over the years, he has performed with many well known artists and has long been in demand as a studio musician.  Maine bass guitarist, Frank Coffin, accompanies him.

The richness of Ireland lies in the stories of its people.  We “meet” some of those who have lived here throughout the millennia, from prehistoric times to present day residents.  All have a story to tell.

Swingtime Band”

Back for a second appearance, this band plays tunes of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s and has appeared throughout Central Maine.  Band members are Elaine Bender on keyboard, Wayne Pare – tenor and saxophone, Norm Perrin on bass guitar, Dave McInnis on guitar and drummer, Phil Perkins.

“Sentinels of the Coast – Part 2” with Michael Perry

Join Dreams Unlimited’s Michael Perry on a beautiful slide show journey along the coast of Maine, from Penobscot Bay to the lobstering communities of Jonesport and Beals.  Along the way we will visit all shapes and sizes of lights both offshore and on the mainland.
