When comic creator Dave Stevens proposed a book based on the original pin-up girl Betty Page, he was turned down because the book wasn't marketable. Not wanting to give up on his quest, Dave created a new hero called THE ROCKETEER, and made Betty Page his girlfriend.
It is sculpted at 1/8 scale and stands 14 inches tall, on top of an art deco base. It was originally produced in hot-cast bronze. A few years later it was released in a resin edition, by BOWEN DESIGNS.
