Mike owns and operates a Tool and Die company in a rural region known as the "Thumb" of Michigan...

Before the advent of the Snowmobile, Mike and his Dad had a series of SnowPlanes... The second snowplane in the series is shown below powered by a Wakasha engine... Mike's dad hand carved the prop from wood and bonded it with brass and fiberglass... The next photo is of Mike at his 2 axis mill used to cut out the plate items...

Mike makes a light (aluminum) crank case drain plate and vacuum producing flapper valve which mounts on the generator base on the top of the engine...
