





The Mission of APART is:
(1) Reduce train speed limits in densely populated areas.
(2) Limit access by pedestrians to track areas by the installation of: fences, bridges and under
passes.
(3) Attain active warning systems, crossing gates, lights and bells where needed.
(4) Provide safety programs in area schools that educate the children about the dangers of
railroads.
(5) Consider any other item, pertaining to railroad safety, which needs addressing.
To join our effort:
(1) You must be at least 18 years of age.
(2) You should be willing to sign support letters and/or petitions for local railroad safety
measures.
(3) Provide us with your name address and telephone number.
You will not be required to pay any fees or dues, only your signature is need for support. A general meeting will be held every six months and attendance is voluntary.
