Tom's Utilities is a unique Windows based program that can be used with Windows 95/98/ME/NT. The software allows both the testing of Annual Percentage Rates, and the ability to compute the proper "APR" for a loan. This product also allows amortizing a commercial loan and generating a print out.
In addition, the program computes Short Rate, Pro-Rata, 90% of Pro-Rata and Rule of 78ths refunds. It also allows a quick comparison of short rate and pro-rata refunds for planning or confirming losses.
Another feature is the ability to test interest rates in most states and situations. In the event that you plan to enter a new market, this will show you the interest yield (APR) and dollar finance charges generated by a particular interest rate and fee. You can also test your own state rate if you plan to make loans in a range that you are not familiar with.
