int'l & akc ch. Shadetree's Pretty Boy 'Floyd'

There are currently ten Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs living with me, and one English Mastiff, Cailin. I have another up-and-coming youngster officially known as Ch. Suddanly Lord of the Ring, aka "Otto" (bred by Dan Campeau of Suddanly Swissys in North Carolina, and co-owned with Cindy Meyerson of Apple Blossom Farm in Sebastopol, California). I co-own other promising dogs as well.

I have bred many home-bred champion Swissies, one of which is Int'l. Ch. & Amer. Ch. Shadetree's Pretty Boy "Floyd," from my first Swissy litter (1996). In his show career as a special, Floyd won a Group 4 and a Group 3 placement, and finished ranking 6th nationwide in Breed and All-Breed points for 1998 with very limited showing. Floyd achieved his International Championship in February, 2000 with three Working Group placements in a row: Group 1st, 3rd & 2nd.

Floyd's son, BISS Ch. treeNsea's Darby o'SwisBlis, CGC, USTT, and his grandson, Clyde, now also have their championships. Darby has taken Best of Breed from the classes over specials, and under the age of two. He is my first "stud" puppy, and he's made waves in the national AKC show rankings of the Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs. At the Golden Gate Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club's national club-supported, regional specialty 2001, Darby became a Best in Specialty Show winner. In 2002, Darby became a group-placing Greater Swiss with a Group 4 win in Indiana. Floyd's children and grandchildren will continue to follow with success in the show world. In August 2004, Darby realized a Register of Merit by having produced at least ten champions of record.

One of Darby's sons, BISS Ch. treeNsea's Hyde Park Rudy, was in the #1 nationwide spotlight in the Breed and All-Breed systems for 2002.

Temperament is a TOP PRIORITY to me, as is physical soundness and health.
