Seven Oaks Farm...Birthplace of Champions!

We are a small breeder of Rocky Mountain Horses. We believe in quality horses instead of quantity. We are located in the piedmont area of North Carolina, near Charlotte. We usually have 2 to 3 babies per year, and they normally sell before we can raise them to ride. We breed show-quality horses. In 2001 we foaled a stud colt by Cappy, took him to the International Rocky Mountain Horse Show in Lexington, Ky, and brought home the BLUE RIBBON for his age group. We have nice mares and breed them to champion Rocky Mt. stallions such as Greene Meadows Cappucino. We have also had babies by such stallions as Arthur's Traveler, Blue Man McGuire and Conley. We currently have a mare bred to the up and coming stallion, Mission's Red Ryder. We currently have babies for sale. Email or call for more information.

Rocky Mountain Horses

The Rocky Mountain Horse is a smooth-gaited horse that originated in the mountains of eastern Kentucky. It is known for it's smooth four-beat gait, easy temperament, stamina and versatility. It comes in all solid colors, the most recognized being chocolate with flaxen mane and tail.
