United Royal Court: Celebrating Five Years of Gaming!
Guidelines for joining United Royal Court:
1) Send a message with the general idea for your character to the GM, a forum message will do or an email to URCSupernov@cs.com. Because URC is a complete world in an of itself you should remember that these characters must be human, will be placed in a noble house of the GMs chosing, and will exist only within the world of the Kingdom of Aquilaene. To get a better idea of the noble house consult the forum library or URC website for more information. If you would like a listing of characters already avaliable, please consult the GM as well. You do not have to have a well planned character idea in order to be added to the game roster, merely an idea - it is the GM's job to help you in this process and we are more than happy to do so.
2) Players are welcome to have more than one character inside the game, this way you will be able to have one character engaged in a message board storyline and still have the option of live play.
3) Once you have been approved by the GM for your character and reviewed the information for your prospective area of the game it is a good idea to post an arrival message in the game. Your character doesnt have to be one that just arrived to court but a debut message is a better way to put it. This will show other players/characters that you are now in the game and will give you the chance to start making relationships inside of the game.
4) If you have a wish to join a certain one of the noble houses of URC simply express this interest to either the player of the head character (Duchess Ureanne Nova, Baroness Mania DiVanni) or by letting the GM know this information. In most cases, you can play in the house you wish to.
The more that you play this game and the more dedication you give to your character and the storylines that you are involved in, the more you will get back from this game. The GM watches closely the storylines and will reward dedication to this game with power IC rewarded to the character. There is a place in this game for every player to be a leader and to go about developing a rounded character. I encourage you to go after that.
