Her Majesty, Queen Gwenyth Correlan of Aquilaene
The princess was considered by her father the smartest of his three children. At a very young age she displayed the ability to be most shrewd and coniving. Gwenyth worked as cheif advisor to her brother, King Aeden Correlan, but left his side to spend several years on the quiet Island of Ullmoor. She returned to be at her brother's side upon his death, accepting his request that she become the next ruling monarch of Aquilaene. Her Majesty, Queen Gwenyth Correlan rules alone from the safety of the Palace of Vanasai.
Prince Jared Correlan - The second son, Jared has grown up in the pomp and prestige of the Palace of Vanasai and his father's court. Prince Jared had a short stint as the Bishop of Aasai. He is known for being brash and ill-tempered, espeically towards the former wife Corle' of Nova. Prince Jared has recently married Mania DiVanni.
Princess Mania DiVanni Correlan - Mania DiVanni had formerly been the sole ruler of the House Divanni, but lost her lands when she wed the Crown Prince Jared Correlan in a midnight ceremony that ousted Corle' Nova and sent the prince's former wife into exile. Mania is brash and uncontrolled, having spent several years in the scandal of life at court.
Prince Lucien Correlan - The dashing young prince and cousin to the Queen has spent many years training with the royal armies. He has returned, having graduated from the academy and is now lodged in the Palace of Vanasai at the wishes of Queen Gweynth.
Capital City: Asai
Asai is home to the Palace of Vanasai, home to the royal family of Aquilaene. The palace sits upon the serene Fortesen Lake. The city of Asai sits just south of the palace.
Lady Ayres Correlan - Ayres has survived a great deal of her life outside of the happenings of court and her cousin's rule. She is perhaps best summed up as a royal daughter who is not close enough to the throne to warrant much attention, but far too important to be allowed freedom. Ayres is quiet and reserved.
Lady Claire Du'Val - Lady Du'Val has been in the service of the royal family for the entire extent of her life. She is widely regarded as one of the most trustworthy of those chosen to serve the Queen in Vanasai.
House Correlan was formed by the union of two Aquilaene houses. When the Duke Elliot Fortesque married Duchess Ruby Durham the two houses were forever conjoined. Nearly twenty years later when the royal couples' children were married and ruling House Correlan was formed in order to combine the wealth and power of both families, as well as capture the crown of Aquilaene.
